Reserve a DOT-approved helmet to using during your two-day MSF Basic RiderCourse! If you know your size, add it as a note at checkout.
We also offer the required full-finger gloves – click here for gloves.
Although you do not have to use our gear specifically, many people choose to do so for various reasons (budget, just taking class for fun, not yet certain about brand preferences, etc). You may purchase your own before class, or bring what you already have ☺
You must reserve in advance in order to guarantee the item is available the day of your course.
Users are responsible for the care and damage of all rented items. All gear rental agreements are final. This item is for MSF BRC students only; it is not approved as an add-on for track days/race events and will not be honored.

Skip the DMV riding test! Successful completion serves as a waiver for the skills test in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and many other states. Remember: earning your endorsement on your license is just the beginning of a lifelong path of riding safely and continuing with rider education programs.
Motorcycles are provided for your use! If you will be bringing your own, please let us know. Gear is not provided, but we do offer rentals: tap here for helmets and tap here for gloves!
Insurance discounts! We suggest you shop around for a policy that rewards you for completion of the course. Many companies offer this perk!
Class size is limited! Sign up early to guarantee your spot!
If conflicts arise, contact us ASAP so we can adjust class size and try to add you to another class date. If you simply do not show up for your scheduled class, you will not receive a refund. No adjustments/refunds are permitted within 10 days leading up to your scheduled class time.

- Must be able to balance and ride a bicycle
- Range exercises include low-speed maneuvers and basic skills such as shifting, accelerating, braking, cornering, U-turn, lane change
- Please bring food / water / beverages for breaks and lunch
- Change of clothes if weather forecast calls for it
What you MUST wear while on the motorcycle:
- DOT-approved helmet and eye protection
- Long-sleeve shirt or jacket (shoulders/chest should be covered)
- Long pants (no holes)
- Over-the-ankle boots
- Full-finger gloves

At NOLA Riding we take you from your first ride to your first podium! We offer lessons and instruction from both our experienced racers and Motorcycle Safety Foundation certified instructors.
We are based in NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, LA, with a second location in Gulfport-Biloxi, on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
