NOLA Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic RiderCourse (MSF BRC) 30-31 May 2026

The MSF Basic RiderCourse (BRC) is a great way to learn how to ride a motorcycle! Our course consists of classroom activities + 11 hours of riding instruction over a two-day period. Start time: 8am. End time: ~5pm.

Students must complete the online MSF E-Course prior to arriving. This reduces classroom time on-site, allowing us as much riding time as possible!

    • Click here for a free E-Course from Triumph. Complete this before your first day of classComplimentary access is a courtesy of Triumph. We do our best connect you to this resource and help if needed, but technical difficulties on the Triumph or MSF website are out of our hands. Follow these steps for best results:
      • Check all boxes before clicking SUBMIT. You will receive an email from Triumph with a link to your free MSF E-Course. You must activate your course at that time to ensure someone else does not take your free seat. We have no control over this. If you have difficulty:
        1. check spam or junk folders
        2. try a different device and/or browser
        3. re-submit with a different email early the next day
      • When you finish, screenshot your certificate of completion and email it with the subject line "MSF Certificate: NOLA, 30 May" to nolaridingacademy@gmail.com ASAP. You must use this subject line or your certificate will not reach the proper folder ☺

Skip the DMV riding test! Successful completion serves as a waiver for the skills test in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and many other states. Remember: earning your endorsement on your license is just the beginning of a lifelong path of riding safely and continuing with rider education programs.

Motorcycles are provided for your use! If you will be bringing your own, please let us know. Gear is not provided, but we do offer rentals: tap here for helmets and tap here for gloves!

Insurance discounts! We suggest you shop around for a policy that rewards you for completion of the course. Many companies offer this perk!

Class size is limited! Sign up early to guarantee your spot!

If conflicts arise, contact us ASAP so we can adjust class size and try to add you to another class date. If you simply do not show up for your scheduled class, you will not receive a refund. No adjustments/refunds are permitted within 10 days leading up to your scheduled class time.
