GULFPORT Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course (MSF BRC) 23-24 August 2025

The MSF Basic Riders Course (BRC) is a great way to learn how to ride a motorcycle. The MSF BRC consists of five hours of formal classroom activities + ten hours of riding instruction, conducted over a two-day period. Class runs 8am-5pm both days.

Students complete the online MSF E-Course prior to arriving, reducing classroom time on-site and allowing us as much riding time as possible.

  • Click here for a free E-Course from TriumphRider.com. This must be completed before your first day of class!
    • To receive access, check all boxes when registering, then you will receive an email from Triumph. Since this is a universal link, you must finish activating at that time to ensure someone else does not take your free seat. We have no control over this.
    • When you finish, screenshot your certificate of completion and email it with the subject line "MSF Certificate" to nolaridingacademy@gmail.com no later than 24 hours prior to your class!

Successful completion of the BRC serves as a license riding test waiver in Louisiana and many other states. However, this should be just the start to a lifelong path of riding safely and continuing with rider education programs. In other words: BRC completion does not guarantee your safety — it’s just the beginning!

Motorcycles are provided for your use. Gear is not provided, but if you are in a financial bind, waited too long to purchase, or just can't make up your mind yet, we offer rental gear: tap here for helmets and tap here for gloves.

Your MSF BRC completion should earn you an insurance discount with your insurance company. We suggest you shop around for one that rewards you for completion of the course.

Class size is limited! Sign up early to guarantee your spot!

If scheduling conflicts arise, please contact us ASAP so we can adjust class size and add you to another class date. If you simply do not show up for your scheduled class, you will not receive a refund. No adjustments/refunds are permitted after Monday of the week of class.
