Can-Am 3-Wheel Basic RiderCourse

This Basic RiderCourse, designed for and operated using 3-wheel motorcycles, is an educational and hands-on experience to get you ready to ride! Class runs 8am-5pm.

Registration is handled directly by Can-Am. Click here to enter their portal, where you will provide all your information and submit payment. When you are successfully registered, Can-Am will forward all of your details to us, and we will be in touch with final notes, homework, and any other updates the week of class.

Important Notes from Us to You:

Students may complete the online MSF E-Course prior to arriving. This is not required, but will help you more quickly absorb information during classroom time, and more quickly have an enjoyable experience on your vehicle. Click here for a free E-Course from TriumphRider.comTo receive access, check all boxes when registering, then you will receive an email from Triumph. When you finish, screenshot your certificate of completion for your future reference.

Closer to your class date, you will receive some “homework” to finish preparing you for class. This will come from nolaridingacademy@gmail.com and be sent to the email you use to register.

Successful completion of this course:

  • serves as a license riding test waiver in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and many other states.
  • should earn you an insurance discount with your insurance company — shop around for one that rewards you for completion of the course!
  • is just the start to a lifelong path of riding safely and continuing with rider education programs (in other words: completion does not guarantee your safety — it’s just the beginning!).

3-wheelers are provided for your use. Gear is not provided, but if you are in a financial bind, waited too long to purchase, or just can't make up your mind yet, we offer rental gear: tap here for helmets and tap here for gloves.

Please bring food / water / beverages for breaks and lunch, and a change of clothes if weather forecast calls for it.

While on the bike, you must wear:

  • DOT approved helmet and eye protection
  • Long-sleeve shirt or jacket (shoulders and chest should be covered)
  • Long pants (no holes)
  • Over-the-ankle boots
  • Full-finger gloves
