Employment with NOLA Riding πŸ’°

Β

As we continue to (so graciously – couldn't do it without y'all!!!) grow, we are beginning the hunt for 1–2 skilled, dependable RiderCoaches to join our team. You’ll teach riders of all levels, run courses with integrity and efficiency, and help students build confidence on two wheels. We take safety seriously, so coaches must be good role models, leading by example both on and off the range.

Classes needing support are in New Orleans and Gulfport; they mainly run on Saturday/Sunday, but demand for weekday classes does exist. Successful completion of a RiderCoach Prep course (typically 7-10 days in length, either straight through or split up over a series of weekends) is a prerequisite. Courses you can look forward to teaching include:

β€’ MSF Basic RiderCourse (BRC)

β€’ Intermediate (BRC2)

β€’ Advanced RiderCourse (ARC)

To throw your helmet in the ring, email your interest + any questions to us at nolaridingacademy@gmail.com, subject line: "New Coach" 🀝

Cheers to 125 years of American craftsmanship, performance, and innovation πŸ—žπŸ»

Indian Motorcycle was founded by two competitive bicycle racers, George Hendee and Oscar Hedstrom, who noticed a problem: early development, innovative yet unreliable "motorbikes". By 1901, the team had rolled out the first American motorcycle. By 1913, they'd cornered the market for reliability and performance. Over a century later, Indian continues to build distinctive V-Twin motorcycles with purpose and precision (and we continue to love, ride, repair, and sell them!). Here's to another 100 years of innovation and making history!

Cold Weather Riding Tips πŸ₯Ά

β€’ Strategic Layers:Β Start with a moisture-wicking base, add insulating layers, and top with a windproof, waterproof outer layer. Don’t forget thermal socks and gloves.

β€’ Protect Extremities:Β Hands, feet, and face lose heat fastest. Use heated grips, thermal socks/gloves, insulated boots, and a balaclava.

β€’ Reaction Time: A heated vest or chest layer helps maintain circulation and alertness, keeping your reaction time sharp!

β€’ Prevent Fogging:Β Anti-fog visors and proper airflow reduce condensation on your helmet.

β€’ Tire Pressure + Surfaces:Β Cold temps lower tire pressure. Be sure tires are properly inflated, tread is good, and you are mindful of cold surfaces being slick – try to avoid sudden braking, sharp turns, and aggressive acceleration.

2026 Track Days + Events 🏁

We've taken great care (analyzing social media polls, conflicting race schedules, other organizations' track calendars, etc.) to lock in dates that will provide the best opportunities for the most riders to come enjoy an amazing day or weekend on two wheels. Sorry for the wait!

πŸ—“ Track Day 1: We are treating y'all to an extra hour of riding for our 2026 opener! Track will be hot 9a–6pm on 4 April. Registration is live and screaming your name! Click here! Track days are a thrilling, structured way to sharpen your motorcycle skills. EMTs and coaches are always on-site to provide maximum safety and learning!

πŸ—“ MSF Courses: Dates cooled down for the winter, but registration is ramping back up. Stay ahead of the curve, save on insurance, and cut down your DMV time by reserving you or your loved one's seat in advance: here.

πŸ—“ More Track Days: We also have a fall track weekend on the books, locked in for 17-18 October. Depending on April turnout, we're also considering 20-21 June; track has pencilled us in for the summer date tentatively, so let's get old and new riders out to make this year the best one yet!

Each ride and event you join is a chance to connect and build community ❀️

We can't wait to see you soon out on the range, road, and track!
